About Me

Esther Hazzard
RN BScN IBCLC
Hi! I am a mother to 4 incredible kids and totally crazy about family life! Along this journey of motherhood, I have quickly realized that I can't do everything on my own. I need others, and others need me. I love supporting people, it's why I became a nurse 20 yrs ago.

As I grow with my family, I want to help others grow with theirs. I breastfed all my kiddos, and it was possible because of all the incredible support I had. Breastfeeding is not just a physical technique, it incorporates the mental, emotional, and spiritual being of a person. My heart is to help people, especially mothers, get the support they need. I am passionate about empowering parents, so that they can feel confident, knowledgeable, and excited to take on this life giving role!

I am dedicated to helping parents who are wanting support in the care of their babies. As a Registered NICU Nurse and Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, I not only want to help you meet your infant feeding goals, but also help you to build the foundation of your family. I specialize in providing individualized care for each family, as I recognize that every baby and parent is unique. And that's a beautiful thing!

Using a holistic approach, I want to come alongside you in your mothering journey and help you... Together, we can work towards ensuring that every baby is well-nourished, each family thriving, and every Mother Well!

At Mother Well, my philosophy is simple: love people.
-
Compassionate, experienced, and evidence-based care to families. I believe that every parent deserves access to support and resources that will help them meet their infant feeding and family goals.
-
Committed to providing non-judgmental support and guidance to families, regardless of their feeding choices.
-
Continually updating my knowledge and skills through education and professional development. This ensures that I am providing the most up-to-date and effective care to my clients.
-
Active listening to ensure parents are heard and respected. I want my clients to know that they are deeply cared for and that they are not alone.
